Cogsci-toddler: (smiling genuinely) It’s okay to hit Nathan?

Cogsci-mom: No, that’s not okay.

Cogsci-toddler: It’s okay to kick Nathan?

Cogsci-mom: No, that’s not okay.

Cogsci-toddler: It’s okay to spit [on] Nathan?

Cogsci-mom: No, that’s not okay.

Well, I guess I should be thankful that he asks before acting.
